Psychoemotional distress on patients with cutaneous manifestations and SARS-CoV-2 infection

Introduction The new coronavirus had a huge impact on individuals from social, economical and psychological point of view. In march 2020 World Health Organization declared the diseases 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic highlighted its psychoemotional implications. Objectives aim this study was to investigate distress during COVID-19 in patients with cutaneous manifestations SARS-CoV-2 infection. Methods Data collected one first-line infectious hospital northeastern Romania. All infection who accepted answer quality life questionnaire (QLQ) were included study. descriptive data analysis conducted SPSS. Results A total 191 completed concerning their financial burden pandemic. Patients chronic dermatological (psoriasis) – 31% reported highest level compared acute (chickenpox, dermatitis, mononucleosis, steven-johnson syndrome, etc.). Furthermore, showed generalized anxiety disorder, depressive symptoms, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), sleep disturbances they attributed individual This received psychological/psychotherapeutic treatment due crisis, hospitalization after discharge.
